Student Registration
A student is defined as a holder of a student identification card from a recognised tertiary or secondary educational institution or international student card.  Students must be studying full time to qualify for the discounted rate.  Student registrants are entitled to the following:

  • Social Dinner
  • Morning and afternoon teas, lunches

Please note:  A copy of your student identification card must be uploaded during the registration process. Without this copy, the full registration fee will be charged.

Registration confirmation
Your registration and payment will be confirmed via email upon completion and successful payment. This email will include an overview of your requirements according to your registration form, and payment receipt.

During the registration process, you will have the opportunity to take advantage of accommodation discounts exclusive to Meeting delegates.

Name badge
All delegates will receive a name badge upon onsite check-in at the event. The badge will be your official pass and must be clearly visible at all times to obtain entry to workshop and Meeting sessions, and social functions.

Delegate conduct
The Meeting Managers expect delegates to behave in a professional, respectful manner throughout the event. As such, the Meeting Managers reserve the right to revoke the registration and privileges of anyone who is deemed in breach of this code of conduct.

Private Touring, Private Functions, Hospitality Arrangements
Should you have any specialised group requirements for private touring, private function, transportation or hospitality services other than those organised for the official program, please contact the Meeting Managers who would be pleased to assist with arrangements.

It is requested that you advise the Meeting Managers of any private /corporate functions that might be planned outside of the official program.

Payment by Credit Card

  • Payment by credit card is the preferred method of payment.
  • All transactions by credit card will appear on your bank statement as “Conference by Arinex”.
  • We offer SSL (Secure Socket Layer) technology & 2048 bit data encryption to protect your personal information and credit card details.

Cancellations must be notified in writing to the NDLR Meeting Managers at 

Registration Fees 
Cancellations on or before Tuesday 8 February 2022 will incur no cancellation fee.
Cancellations from Wednesday 9 February 2022 until Tuesday 8 March 2022 will incur a A$150.00 cancellation fee.
Cancellations from Wednesday 9 March 2022 to Tuesday 19 April 2022 will incur a 50% cancellation fee.
Cancellations on or after Wednesday 20 April 2022 will receive no refund.

Note: there will be a $150 administration fee charged for refunds on duplicate registration payments.

Accommodation Fees: A cancellation charge of 100% of your accommodation booking will apply for cancelled bookings made after Tuesday 26 April 2022 including no shows.

All cancellations and changes to your reservation must be made in writing to the Meeting Managers. Non-arrival / no show In the event of a non-arrival when deposit has been paid, your room will be held until the following morning (1100 hours), your deposit will be retained by the hotel as a cancellation charge, and you will not be entitled to any refund. Social payments are non-refundable as at 15 April 2022.

Registration fees do not include insurance. It is strongly recommended that at the time you register for the event and book your travel you take out an insurance policy of your choice. The policy should include:

  • Loss of fees/deposit through cancellation of your participation in the event or through the cancellation of the event,
  • Loss of international/domestic air fares through cancellation for any reason,
  • Loss of tour monies through cancellation for any reason including airline or related services strikes within Australia,
  • Failure to utilise tours or pre booked arrangements due to airline delay,
  • Force Majeure or any other reason,
  • Medical expenses (including sickness and accident cover),
  • Loss or damage to personal property,
  • Additional expenses and repatriation should travel arrangements have to be altered,
  • Medical expenses.

The Conference Managers cannot take any responsibility for any participant failing to arrange their own insurance. This insurance is to be purchased in your country of origin.

The program is correct at the time of publishing. The organisers reserve the right to delete, modify or alter items from the program or to delete, modify or alter any aspect of the Meeting timetabling and delivery at their sole discretion and without notice.  Neither the host organisation(s) nor the Meeting Managers will accept any liability for any loss or inconvenience caused to any party consequent to such changes.

The Meeting Managers reserve the right to use any recordings whether audio or video and/or any photographs taken at any stage during the Meeting for promotional, advertising or reporting of the Meeting and/or its content at their sole discretion.

The Organiser and Host/s of the New Directions in Leukaemia Research Meeting 2022 (the “Event”) reserve the right to remove from the venue/Event at any time any attendee deemed to be causing, or potentially causing, a disturbance or exhibiting disruptive or inappropriate behaviour.  Such removal does not constitute a right to refund of any fees paid.  Please view the Code of Conduct here which all attendees are expected to comply with.
